Slurp: Does it Again
Seriously, I have never witnessed anything like this before. It is like Slurp is taking a giant step backwards. It is as if Slurp has never seen dynamic content, or a SSI before. According to the testing results. 72% of Yahoo!’s index is duplicate content. When I say duplicate content, I don’t mean the same page on more than two domains, I mean the same page indexed numerous times and referenced differently by Yahoo! as if to be different pages. Personally, I am amazed that this isn’t getting more press than it is. Yahoo! clearly doesn’t know what is going on, and my phone calls to the Yahoo! campus have gone unreturned. My stance stays the same, focus your energy on Google and MSN until Yahoo! can figure out what it takes to be a serious player in search.
Here is a hint: Invest that one billion dollars you threw at Alibaba (the biggest scam network on the web) into search.
