Google Dance Completes: Google’s data center is again stable and the update completed this week. As I reported to you when The Dance started, Google was purging their database very aggressively. I saw affiliate links removed, guest book signings removed, and duplicate pages removed from Google’s data center. While not all of these types of pages were removed, I saw a large amount dumped.

What This Means For You: If you are relying on your affiliate links, guest book signings, and mirrored sites for your link popularity, you may wish to change your strategy. Google is cleaning out their index, and while your site may not be affected now, it is just a matter of time before your PageRank plummets.
