It was just announced that Google and Amazon have reached an agreement to allow Google to display Premium Sponsored Listings on Amazon.com.
Premium Sponsored listings are the two results in different colors at the top of the search results in Google, do not confuse them with Google AdWords which appear on the right part of the page. Sponsored listings require a minimum investment of $5,000.00 per month for at least three months.
It is not known at this time if Amazon will be displaying AdWords. However, just in case they do, the time is now to modify your account or create one.
